United Way of the Brazos Valley distributing 11,000 free face masks this Wednesday

July 13, 2020 by Andre Perrard

More masks are being handed out by the United Way of the Brazos Valley.

Following their successful first drive-thru distribution, the organization has scheduled another for this Wednesday, July 15th. They will be handing out around 11,000 free face masks from 7 am to 9 am at Veteran’s Park in College Station.

The surgical masks were donated by Brazos County Emergency Management, and the N95 masks by Lowe’s Home Improvement.

They will be distributed in bundles of five, with a limit of one bundle per car. Drivers are asked to enter on Veteran’s Parkway from University Drive, and follow the signs. Then, drivers are asked to exit on Harvey Road.

There is no cost, and no registration or identification is required.
