On August 9, 2014 at approximately 1600 hrs the College Station Police Department received confirmation from the Hood County Sheriff’s Office that Amber Le had been safely recovered in their jurisdiction. Investigation into this matter continues and arrests and charges against non-family members may be possible. The College Station Police Department wishes to thank the Hood County Sheriff’s Office, Granbury Police Department and the Ft Worth Police Department for their assistance and efforts in locating Ms. Le.

On August 3, 2014, at approximately 1203 hrs, officers with the College Station Police Department met with the parent of a 14 year old female in regards to a missing person report. During their investigation and subsequent follow-up, it was found that the 14 year old female was last seen at her residence in the 200 blk of Sophia in College Station at approximately 0930 hrs that date.
When her parent arrived back at the residence at approximately 1115 hrs, they found that the 14 year old female was gone and that a note had been left indicating that she had left the residence and did not wish to be found. It is believed that she is in the company of non-family adult(s) and has possibly left the local area.
The College Station Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is conducting additional investigation and working with other law enforcement agencies in an attempt to locate the missing juvenile female.
At this time there are no signs of foul play, but it is important to locate the female and verify her safety. She is identified as Amber Le, a 14 year old from College Station. She is 5’05” 110 pounds, black hair and brown eyes, shoulder length straight hair, and has a tattoo on right leg and back.
The College Station Police Department and the parent of the female are asking for the public’s help in attempting to locate her. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the College Station Police Department at 979-764-3600.
