We’re half-way through early voting, and as of Monday Grimes County’s election administrator says the local turnout is good, despite all of the local races, including county judge, having already been decided.
Rebecca duff tells Navasota News, just over 1000 votes have been cast including 1 from Richards.
Duff says grimes habitually exceeds statewide voter forecasts, and predicts the number of local residents and voters will continue to increase as the county and Texas populations continue to grow.
Early voting continues through Friday, with the election next Tuesday, November the 4th.
