One person is in custody after a homicide investigation in Waller County.
The incident happened at a home Sunday night in the 2500 block of Winding Way, located in the far northeast reach of the county. The suspect tried running, but was apprehended by Waller County deputies.
The Texas Rangers joined Waller County deputies remained on the scene late Sunday night and are assisting in the investigation. It happened in a mostly residential area about 20 miles Northeast of Prairie View, near Magnolia and Stagecoach.
The identity of the suspect has not been released.
