A post shared on Facebook asking for help in finding a wanted Grimes County man leads to his arrest 24 hours later.

In a post on Friday, the Office asked the public for assistance in finding 33 year old Joseph “JoJo” Reyes, who had active felony warrants for aggravated sexual assault of a child, sexual assault of a child and prohibited sexual conduct.

On Saturday, the DA’s Office posted an update it had been shared over 1000 times and confirmed Reyes was in custody. Reyes was known to frequent the Bedias area, but had connections to Madison, Walker and Brazos Counties.

No specifics of the arrest were released due to it being a pending case, but did disclose that he fled the state of Texas. He will be extradited back to stand trial.
