Washington County has announced their first COVID-19 related death.
Officials have identified the person as a man in his 80s, with multiple underlying health issues, who passed away Friday morning.
No further information was released.
County Judge John Durrenberger reminded everyone in the release that the numbers are not simply statistics, but fellow community members fighting a tough battle.
