The next utility project for a water line replacement project in downtown Navasota begins Monday.
That started at 6 am, as construction crews begin potholing to locate underground utilities for the line on Washington Avenue.
Three streets will be closed starting today. They include Frazier Street right next to Wells Fargo, the 200 block alley next to the Patout Building, and the 100 block alley next to the K&F Prescott Building.
Parking lots in front of Circle P and Wells Fargo will be blocked for the project.
No specific timetable was given for the completion of the project.
