The weekly Grimes County COVID-19 updates sees yet another increase in the number of cases.
In total for the newest update, sent out Monday, June 29th, the county has seen 116 total cases, with 55 of them in Navasota. That is up from last week, where Grimes County saw 87 overall cases, with 39 of them in Navasota.
There have been 32 recoveries, up 5 from last week’s update. The number of active cases currently sits at 68, which is up from 44 last week. 17 total have been lost to follow up, according to the release.
In all, 1,195 tests have been performed in Grimes County. The number of hospitalizations is unknown.
There were no new numbers updates from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) in this update.
