The Texas Department of State Health Services has released the most updates counts for COVID-19 cases in Grimes County.
According to the press release on Monday, there have been 66 total cases in Grimes County, with 29 in Navasota. There are 38 active cases with 20 recoveries, and 8 who have lost contact during follow up. The number of hospitalizations is unknown, and there still have been no deaths of any residents in the county.
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice also updated their numbers for the Pack Unit here, saying there have been 208 total cases, with 46 of them being active, and there have been 162 recoveries. TDCJ still reports one death from COVID-19 in grimes County, who was an inmate at the Pack Unit.
