76 new cases of Coronavirus in Grimes County this week have pushed the total over 300.
According to the release on Tuesday, total county cases jumped from 290 last week, to 366 this week. Of those, 263 are active, with 114 of those active cases in Navasota.
There was some much desired news in the way of recoveries in this release. After sitting at 33 recoveries for 3 weeks, the county now has seen 132 recoveries, with 62 of them in Navasota.
Thus far, 3,278 tests have been performed in the county.
No new Texas Department of Criminal Justice numbers in this release, but the TDCJ dashboard says that there are 21 active cases at the Pack Unit, 11 cases being offenders, and 10 being employees.
For the Luther Unit, there are 11 active cases, 2 of them offenders, and 9 of them employees.
