Woman with Grimes County warrants arrested for dumpster diving in Bryan

January 4, 2022 by Andre Perrard

A woman with warrants out of Grimes County was arrested over the holidays for dumpster diving in Bryan.

A Bryan police officer on foot patrol walked by a dumpster and heard a loud noise and saw a duffle bag and purse next to a pit bull on December 26th. The dumpster was fenced in and had a sign stating it was unlawful to scavenge on the property. After the officer identified himself and told the person to come out of the dumpster, the lid was opened and a woman came out.

31 year old Patricia Paholke of Bryan was arrested on warrants from Grimes County charging her with DWI and possessing a dangerous drug. She also had two warrants from Bryan municipal court, and new charges of possessing Ecstasy and Xanax.

Paholke was later released after posting bonds totaling 22 thousand dollars. The dog was picked up by Bryan animal control.
