An arrest has been made in the December chase, that flipped a Madison County Sheriff’s patrol vehicle and went through Grimes County.
According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, they arrested Luis Daniel Armenta of Madisonville, after he was spotted at the North Zulch dollar store.
Armenta took deputies on a high speed chase on December 10th, which started in Madison County and went into the Bedias area. That is when Armenta ditched the vehicle along Highway 90 and ran. Deputies called off the search the next morning in that area.
During that chase, a Madison County Sheriff’s Office vehicle was flipped, with the deputy inside not sustaining any serious injury.
Armenta had warrants out of multiple counties. His warrants from Madison County included Manufacturing or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Evading Arrest with a Vehicle with Previous Conviction, Evading Arrest with Prior Conviction, and Possession of Marijuana.
Armenta also had a warrant out of Walker County, which included two counts of Bond Surrender, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Evading Arrest with Previous Conviction.
Also arrested was Tracie Kuehn of Madisonville, who was out on bond from recent felony charges, and will face similar charges to Armenta.
